Understory Snow Dusting

The Mountain Laural - Kalmia latiflia, one of my favorite wild shrubs - shows off the faint dusting of snow along our drive.  

This shrub native to Eastern North America is a species of flowering plants in the Heather family.  The wood-land is filled with flowers in the spring when the Laurel blooms in profusion
