Stunned

this one survived - they are at the feeder or on the porch and fly suddenly away - with the occasional crash into the clear glass of the kitchen window - in summer they usually are stunned but quickly revive, however in the cold winter days they can quickly die if not given some needed warmth like that of my hand - so this one survived, and not so lucky was a little Junco later that I did not get to in time -
