awwwwwdorable!!!! Chickadees are one of my favorites ~~ I have been fortunate enough to have chickadees eating out of my hand and one experience of the female downy woodpecker sit on my hand for a few moments to stare and then trust me enough to take a peanut and fly to a nearby tree with it.. !! I was able to have my sister photograph the moment!! These are spectacular photos Norvell!!!!
I have never had a bird eat out of my hand - but I can imagine the Chickadee - however the downy woodpecker is just an awesome thought - you amaze me -
Patience is of the virtue and once that first chickadee lands on your hand to feed, you are hooked!! I make sure I always have a little stash of bird feed in my pocket when I am outside!!
