Taking my trusty friend Elijah for a walk through the back wood I was looking, amazed, at the quick growth of the fern near the small wood rill when a doe leaped from her bed in the fern, leaped over the fallen tree and then turned and looked back at me, giving me enough time to snap a quick woodland photo.
