Carol Meets Loon

To the right of the kayak, along the marsh grass is a dark object that was a Loon which swam directly toward her kayak, then submerged and darted away under-water at the last minute.

    Well, actually it was a cormorant, but loon sounds more exciting. I was quite pleased, either way.
