Hornet's Nest Starting

This is the Baldfaced Hornet -Dolichovespula maculata, which is actually a member of the yellow jacket group of social bees.  All yellow jackets are very aggressive in defending their territory and the stings are quite painful.  I probably will remove this nest as it is near the front entrance to our old house.  No pesticides - just a removal and hope that she will decide to rebuild elsewhere.
