Once the linemen arrive I know that I will be getting good service - earlier they had shut down the service to the last three homes at the end - and now the young man in the 'cherry-picker' is attaching the repaired broken line to the unbroken line to Byrds, last home on the line. Power on will be about ten to fifteen minutes. And further sweetening the deal is the extra impetus that the earlier trouble shooter, who arrived an hour or so before the line crew, also made a call to the right-of-way clearing honcho and read the letter to him that I had received back on 14 April suggesting that the clearing would probably be taking place in less than three weeks. For now power is definitely about to be on.
