Wait, Wait - that's not a honey bee

IIt's that time of year when we're supplementing the bees feeding with concentrated sugar water to help them build honey reserves for winter and this attracts marauding honey bees from other colonies, yellow jackets, and in this instance a large bald faced hornet.  Our home guard bees are really busy defending the hive from all intruders and in this instance fighting to the death with dark vader
