Quiet Night Thought

Quiet Night Thought is the title of a famous poem written by the Tang Dynasty poet, Li Bai (also known as Li Po).

静夜思

床前明月光   

疑是地上霜   

举头望明月   

低头思故乡   

Jìng yè sī

chuáng qián míng yuè guāng

yí shì dì shàng shuāng

jǔ tóu wàng míng yuè

dī tóu sī gù xiāng

Quiet night thought

at the foot of the bed bright moonlight

I imagine frost on the floor

raising my head, I gaze at the bright moon

lowering my head, I think of my old village
