First Load This Fall - II

this was a fallen White Oak - long dead - and will burn almost smoke-less with great heat per stick 

BUT 

it is the most god-awful wood to split with a hand swung splitting maul that I am dreading tomorrow so drinking a nice two-fingers of Glen Breton
