Single Malts - and other odd Musings

- And here in our 'neck of the woods' - Newark, Delaware's own Woman's March - are 'The Girls'

litterally thousands of 'Women's Marches' in protest of Donald Trump are taking place across the U.S. of A, and across the world from Australia to Europe with over half a million people gathering in Washington D.C. alone (I believe it took only 19 minutes for the crowd to exceed the size of those at the inauguration yesterday) - in some large cities in the U.S. marches had to be cancelled because the numbers of people showing up have filled the streets in a compact mass covering the entire marching route - there is no place to march but the people are there - this is the reaction to the most unpopular president ever elected - and prospective marchers attempting to cross the border from Canada were turned back at the borders by customs officers given orders not to allow them in - this is what is happening at the border of what for over a hundred years has been the two most friendly nations on earth - and all over the (place your own pejorative adjective here) Trumpkov!!!

The above photo shows (in this particular photograph) my wife, daughter, grandchildren and another close relative in the foreground as they march in solidarity with mothers, and daughters across our land and around the globe.

'The Girls' and all the other marchers in this small university town are demonstrating the strength of our country in this peaceful, volunteer organized, open display of what they deem the qualities that our country should stand for - marching along the sidewalks, obeying traffic lights and excellent police control and in general conforming to regulations of the city of Newark so that the spirit of freedom shines forth here and across our nation. Amen!
