What though on hamely fare we dine,
Wear
hoddin grey, an' a that;
Gie birds their wings, and dogs their whine;
A Squirrel's a Squirrel for a' that:
For a' that, and a' that,
Their bushy tail, an' a' that;
The honest squirrel, tho'
e'er sae quick,
Is king o' men for a' that.
