The Little Falls


there is not much left of the old dam that fed the mill-race to the towns main attraction in the 1800s of the grist mill that the small farms around the North East River came to to get their wheat and other grain crops ground into flour - and this little drop of about 8 to 12 inches still defines the base stones that supported the sturdy dam of yore
