Single Malts - and other odd Musings

Himself having a few tastes of a Virginia Distillery Co. Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky - 46% ALC - it is a blend of Scotland Whisky (not identified further) married with Virginia Whisky distilled from malt mash.  I liked it well enough to pay up for a bottle and have tried it several times now - a little review will be forth-coming later, but so far "not bad" and keeps me trying another evening, eh?

AND the host of the evening was
The Plum Creek Market
a small pleasant beverage store a couple of miles below the town of North East, Maryland

a little update: read this website - https://www.reservebar.com/products/virginia-highland-malt which clcars up whether the Scotland whisky was single malt or not ('tis)
