Conglomerate Age Upon Age

This rock (with my foot for scale) eroding from the bank is a testimonial to the age upon age of geologic time - rocks tumbled and rolled deposited in clay and then compressed with unimaginable forces to produce this rock - and if you look closely you can see that some of the embedded stones are themselves conglomerates.
