Falling Apart - the bridge over the North East Creek from North East to Charlestown

I take a lot of photographs from this bridge - ducks, great blue heron, mergansers, muskrat, and etc - and every time I drive across it I am really aware of the extremely poor condition of this ninety year old piece of work - cracks in the macadam run parallel to the the waist high walls completely across the structure, the walls are separating and leaning in anticipation, and in the lower photograph you can see how a relatively recent cosmetic attempt at hiding the droop of the road surface is occurring even more with at least two inches to three inches of gap - what big truck is going to make the final run?, eh?
