the other day I lost my 'plain-jane' - actually have to stick it into the key opening on the door - key and spent hours looking for it with no luck. A local hardware store has a key center with a young man, Ted, who knew an amazing bit of knowledge about the modern style vehicle keys and who quickly made the plain key above from my old taped together electronic key. I also have an order in action to have an electronic key blank that matches my old one sent to the store to be programed to order for that 'fall apart at any time' key - and at a price just a little above half the cost for same at the dealer. So if you need a new key for your newish vehicles give this store a trial as I am sure happy that I did so.
