Tick Larva Removed From Me Today, - on taking a shower I spotted this under the waist band of my under shorts


that smallish brown vague item next to the penny is a tick larva - cannot tell the type but "

Tick Larvae

Larval ticks are extremely small and hard to see. Larvae of multiple species look very similar and must be identified microscopically by a professional. They have only 6 legs.
Larval ticks have not yet taken a blood meal but may still carry transmissible pathogens, such as B. lonestari and Rickettsiae
